What's this game about?

You have 5 minutes to finish all the fraud puzzles around the office before you have to leave for your birthday dinner!

The steaks stakes you ask? Your hard-earned money! You only have $300! Will you lose it all? Or will you be able to enjoy your favorite food with your friends and family at the end?

You'll encounter a variety of scam attempts trying to get you to hand over your hard earned cash, including phishing emails, fake job opportunities, suspicious messages, and fraudulent payment requests. Each choice affects your score and determines whether they successfully avoid becoming a victim. Watch out though, they aren't all fraud!

Why I created FraudQuest:

My goal is to make fraud awareness accessible, memorable, and enjoyable. By turning fraud education into a easy-to-play game (with just 6-7 buttons), I hope that users can build confidence in identifying scams while gaining valuable knowledge to help protect themselves, their families, and their finances online.

Online fraud has become one of the fastest-growing crimes in the world. According to the Federal Trade Commision, just in 2024, Americans reported losing more than $12.5 billion to fraud scams. Fraudsters are using more advanced tactics now more than ever, such as phishing attacks, fake job offers, overpayment scams, impersonation schemes, and social engineering techniques.
